Americans rank healthcare as top concern, but 64% disapprove of its handling

Thirty-five percent of Americans see healthcare as the most pressing issue facing the country, a recent Bloomberg poll found.

Healthcare led respondents’ chief concerns, followed by unemployment and jobs (13 percent) and terrorism (11 percent). While healthcare tops all other concerns listed in the poll, 64 percent of respondents disapprove of how the issue is being handled, the poll found.

Selzer & Co. polled 1,001 Americans via telephone on behalf of Bloomberg July 8 through July 12 for the survey.
