Alabama Hospital Association names chairman, 3 Birmingham leaders

The Alabama Hospital Association appointed several executives as leaders within the organization, according to the Birmingham Business Journal.

Four things to know:

1. Luke Standeffer, senior vice president of Tuscaloosa-based DCH Health System and the administrator of Northport (Ala.) Medical Center, was named chairman of the Alabama Hospital Association.

2. Anthony Patterson, senior vice president of inpatient services at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, was tapped as a board member for the association.

3. Drew Mason, CEO of Birmingham-based Grandview Medical Center, was elected president of the Birmingham Regional Council of the association.

4. Keith Granger, regional president for Community Health Systems in Franklin, Tenn., was reelected to serve as a board member for the association. He will represent the Birmingham Regional Hospital Council.
