Ohio’s Akron General Health Reports $571M in Total Operating Revenues in 2010

Akron (Ohio) General Health System has published its 2010 outcomes in its yearly annual report, which includes more than $571 million in total operating revenues, according to the report.

In comparison, Akron General reported $553 million in total operating revenues in 2009.
In 2010, the health system also recorded 32,619 hospital admissions (down from nearly 34,000 in 2009), nearly 100,000 emergency department visits (up from nearly 90,000 in 2009) and 18,537 surgical procedures (slightly down from 18,780 in 2009).

In addition, the system documented 5,576 employees and 1,099 medical staff members in 2010.
