The hospital association has launched a Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/ahahospitals) and a Twitter account (@AHAAdvocacy).
Adding a social network presence is part of AHA’s mission to “tell the hospital story and share news about the field,” according to an AHA News Now report.
Nearly one out of every five hospitals nationwide uses social media to communicate.
