Student Government President Matara Wright is working on a doctorate in clinical psychology, which she expects to complete in 2018. She earned a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Adler in 2015. As president, Ms. Wright is working to improve the influence of the student government on matters like tuition, commencement and university relations.
Adler University was established in 1952 and currently enrolls more than 1,200 students in master’s and doctoral programs across multiple disciplines. The Adler mission is to graduate socially responsible practitioners that advocate for changing the social conditions that drive disparities in population health and well-being.
