1. We utilize anesthesiologist with years of experience, so they are good at what they do because they have the expertise to provide anesthesia that results in optimal recovery times.

2. We tend to use a small core group of anesthesiologist that are familiar with our center, staff and surgeons. They are able to anticipate surgeon needs and work closely as a team to provide anesthesia.

3. We use anesthesiologists familiar with ambulatory surgery and work at a faster pace and have quick turnover times. It is important for the anesthesiologist to understand and support quick turnover times and their role to keep surgeons on schedule.

4. We developed and maintain a good rapport with our medical director who is a working anesthesiologist at our center. We meet weekly to discuss quality and operational issues. This allows us to stay on top of issues (scheduling, block time, cases going over scheduled time, etc.) and deal with them before they become problems.
