3 new members join Peterson Regional Medical Center board: 4 things to know

Kerrville, Texas-based Peterson Regional Medical Center has elected Greg Shrader, Sue Steele, and James Young, MD, to its board of directors, according to a Hill Country Community Journal report.

Here are four things to know about the new board members.

1. Mr. Shrader is a media consultant for Southern Newspapers. Before that, he was in publishing, serving as the publisher of the Kerrville Daily Times and then as publisher for the Lufkin Daily News.

2. Ms. Steele is the owner of The Wilderness, a manufactured home community for senior adults in the Kerrville area. She has been involved in a number of nonprofit organizations.

3. Dr. Young specializes in internal medicine and works with Internal Medicine Consultants. He currently is the medical director for Peterson Hospice in Kerrville and is also the medical director for Peterson Home Care in Kerrville.

4. All three of the new board members will serve three-year terms and will be eligible to serve two additional terms.
