3 new members join Kittitas County Hospital District board

Three new faces this month joined the Kittitas County Hospital District 1 Board of Commissioners, which is the governing body of Ellensburg, W. Va.-based Kittitas Valley Healthcare, according to the Daily Record.

New members to the five-member board include Bob Davis, who will have a four-year term, and Erica Libenow and Matthew Altman, who will have six-year terms, according to the report.

Mr. Altman told the Daily Record the new board will advocate for physicians, nurses and staff. Among the first decisions the board will make in the new year include plans to redesign the KVH campus. The roughly $18 million design is expected to come before the board in February or March, according to the report.
