The patient organizations called on Senate leaders to maintain the ACA’s Medicaid expansion and push back against efforts to convert Medicaid to a per capita cap or block grant system.

The organizations included their requests in a letter sent to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee Orrin Hatch, R-Utah.
