Phoebe Putney Health in Georgia Breaks Ground on Digestive Disease Center

Phoebe Putney Health System, based in Albany Ga., has broken ground on its digestive disease center, according to an Albany Herald report.

Phoebe Putney’s Meredyth Gastrointestinal and Endoscopy Center was planned to expand the health system’s gastroenterological services and more easily recruit gastroenterology specialists, according to the report. The endoscopy center is expected to open to the public in fall 2012.
