LinkedIn analyzed member profile information, as outlined in a September report, and found that soft skills featured on hired C-suites and executives’ LinkedIn profiles rose from 7.3% in 2018 to 9.6% in 2023.
In the U.S., women were found to feature more soft skills on their profiles than men, according to the report. Of the skills listed, 13.9% of women’s skills were soft skills, compared to 11.5% of men’s skills listed.
