Tucson-based University of Arizona Cancer Center announced it has broken ground on the $100 million University of Arizona Cancer Center – Phoenix.
The 220,000-square-foot facility will offer comprehensive cancer services including infusion, radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging and endoscopic/interventional radiology.
The Arizona Board of Regents approved the project and a 20-year facility lease with St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz., a member of Dignity Health, in December 2012.
The center is expected to open in 2015.
