Trinity Mother Frances Opens Heart Hospital

Tyler, Texas-based Trinity Mother Frances Health System will soon open the Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, according to a KLTV 7 report.

A donation of $18 million from Louis and Peaches Owen has made the construction of the hospital possible, according to a Trinity Mother Frances report. It is the region’s first freestanding heart hospital.

The new hospital includes 72 ICU-capable beds, 16 cardiac observation beds and three new cardiac and thoracic OR suites.
