Rush University Medical Center Expands Cancer Care in Aurora

Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center is planning to expand cancer services at its hospital in Aurora, Ill., according to a report from Crain’s Chicago Business.

The hospital will invest $8 million in the center expansion, which will include a second linear accelerator for radiation therapy. The expansion will begin this month and will be complete in approximately one year.

Rush-Copely Medical Center in Aurora is the market leader in cancer care in the area, according to the report.
