Marysville Memorial Hospital to Open Orthopedics Center

Marysville (Ohio) Memorial Hospital of Union County announced it will open an outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine center in response to an increase in outpatient demand, according to a report from Columbus Business First.

The new facility is a $7.5 million; 35,000-square-foot medical office building that will also house an urgent care expansion.

Marysville Memorial’s partnerships with athletic departments at area schools are most likely the driver of a 54 percent increase in patient volume for physical therapy and sports medicine services in the past year, according to the report.
