10 Latest Hospital Expansions in Orthopedics, Neuroscience, Imaging

Here are 10 orthopedic, neuroscience and imaging center expansions hospitals and health systems announced in the past month-and-a-half, beginning with the most recent.

1. Victory Healthcare, based in The Woodlands, Texas, began building a new $49 million hospital that will specialize in orthopedics and spine surgery.

2. OhioHealth plans to build a $321 million neuroscience institute on the campus of Riverside Methodist Hospital.

3. Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn., opened the first fully-integrated neurosurgical center of its kind in the United States.

4. NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City broke ground on the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain at the hospital's Westchester campus in White Plains, N.Y.

5. Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill., opened a new $24 million orthopedics and neuroscience center.

6. Great Neck, N.Y.-based North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System opened the New York Head and Neck Institute and the Center for Cranial Base Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.

7. Cheyenne (Wyo.) Regional Medical Center opened its new Outpatient Imaging Center in the Cheyenne Regional Health Plaza.

8. Kalispell (Mont.) Regional Medical Center opened its Neuroscience and Spine Institute.

9. Northside Hospital opened a new outpatient imaging center in Buford, Ga.

10. Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, N.Y., opened a new imaging center.
