CMS has announced its calendar year 2014 rules for outpatient prospective payment systems, physician fee schedules, home health PPS and end-stage renal disease will be issued Nov. 27.
The rules would normally be issued Nov. 1, but the government shutdown has delayed the release. The delay will not affect the rules’ implementation, which will be effective Jan. 1, 2014, according to a news release.
