Ms. Sparer will return full time to New York City to “continue to spend time on issues that have been important to her throughout her career, including children’s health and mentoring future healthcare leaders,” a health system spokesperson told Becker’s on Sept. 27.
Yale New Haven Health appointed Ms. Sparer as executive director of its children’s hospital and vice president for women’s and children’s services in 2011. Before that, she had served as interim executive director of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital since May 2010. She has been in her current role since 2017.
