Yale New Haven Children’s taps interim infectious diseases chief

Thomas Murray, MD, PhD, has been named interim section chief of pediatric infectious diseases at Yale School of Medicine and Yale New Haven (Conn.) Children’s Hospital, effective September 1.

Dr. Murray also serves as the hospital’s associate medical director for infection prevention and as medical director for the Winchester Pediatric Tuberculosis Clinic, the only dedicated pediatric TB outpatient program in Connecticut.

He has been a faculty member of Yale School of Medicine’s pediatrics department since 2018, according to a July 17 news release.
