Eastern Maine Healthcare Names Daniel Coffey CEO of Acadia Hospital

Daniel B. Coffey has been named president and CEO of Acadia Hospital in Bangor, Maine, effective immediately, according to a hospital news release.

Brewer-based Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems President and CEO Michelle Hood, FACHE, made the announcement about Acadia Hospital, a member of EMHS. 

Mr. Coffey has worked within EMHS for 34 years and currently serves as executive vice president, treasurer and CFO. He also helped create Acadia Hospital in the late 1980s.

Scott Oxley, EMHS vice president and chief accounting officer, will serve as interim CFO of the system.
