Wyoming hospital CEO, CFO exit

Joy Coulston has stepped down as CEO of Powell (Wyo.) Valley Healthcare, according to a statement from the board of directors shared with Becker’s on May 23.

“On behalf of the Board, we wish her well in her future endeavors,” the statement said. “The board, in partnership with Billings Clinic, expects to finalize interim leadership plans soon and will begin recruiting a new CEO as quickly as possible.”

Ms. Coulston was promoted from CFO to CEO in June 2023. Her exit follows Coby LaBlue’s departure; she had served as Powell Valley’s CFO since August 2023 and left the organization in May, according to her LinkedIn profile

Ms. LaBlue was named CFO of Cody (Wyo.) Regional Health, where she previously served as  accounting director/controller, according to a May 23 news release. 

Powell Valley Healthcare operates a 25-bed critical access hospital, physician clinics and an assisted living facility.
