WVU Health System taps new chief quality officer

Morgantown, W.Va.-based West Virginia University Health System has appointed Michael Stevens, MD, chief quality officer.

Dr. Stevens had been serving as the system’s interim chief quality officer. He joined WVU Health in 2022, according to a Feb. 4 news release.

He also served as medical co-director of the Virginia Infection Prevention Training Center at Richmond-based Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center.
