WhidbeyHealth CEO to retire: 3 things to know

Coupeville, Wash.-based WhidbeyHealth CEO Geri Forbes is retiring July 1, according to a South Whidbey Record report.

Three things to know:

1. Ms. Forbes led the health system for four years, beginning in February 2015.

2. During her tenure, she spearheaded the construction of a new 39-bed hospital wing as well as changed the name of Coupeville-based Whidbey General to WhidbeyHealth Medical Center and Clinics.

3. She was previously CEO of Doctors’ Memorial Hospital in Perry, Fla.
