Wheeling, W.Va-based Wheeling Hospital named Michael Campsey, MD, CMO.
Four notes:
1. Dr. Campsey previously served as chief of cardiology for the Washington (Pa.) Health System.
2. In this new position, he will be responsible for ensuring the hospital's physicians are providing safe, effective medical services and are up-to-date with health regulations.
3. Dr. Campsey is a trained interventional cardiologist and will continue to see patients.
4. Dr. Campsey completed fellowships in adult cardiovascular disease and coronary and peripheral interventions at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
