Jeanne LeChance, interim CEO of The Westerly (R.I.) Hospital, will leave her post today, according to a report by The Westerly Sun.
Ms. LeChance has been with the hospital since 2004. She started as the CFO and was later promoted to executive vice president. She became interim CEO when Charles Kinney, the former CEO, retired in June, according to the report.
The Westerly Hospital is awaiting state regulatory review of a bid by Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London, Conn., to purchase it and pay off its debt, according to the report.
