The first phase of the revitalization project includes renovation of the hospital’s emergency department. Plans call for a complete renovation, addition of advanced technology, expansion of space and number of beds and a new observation unit.
Complimenting the emergency department renovation will be an expansion of the hospital’s overall capacity to 300-350 private patient rooms, renovations to nurse stations and remodeling of all common areas.
Future phases of the revitalization project include enhancements to the women and infants program, renovation to the six-story Mellon Pavilion and more.
