West Hills Hospital & Medical Center names CNO: 3 things to know

West Hills Hospital & Medical Center in Los Angeles tapped Janeen Gallego, BSN, MSN, to serve as permanent chief nursing officer, effective in January.

Three things to know:

1. Ms. Gallego previously served as the assistant CNO at Thousand Oaks, Calif.-based Los Robles Regional Medical Center and then interim CNO at West Hills Hospital.

2. She began her nursing career at West Hills Hospital, serving as a charge nurse and staff nurse in the telemetry unit.

3. She has also worked as a lecturer and clinical instructor for Ventura County Community College District.
