Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & ER’s new CEO is Tripp Owings: 4 notes

Wichita, Kan.-based Wesley Healthcare appointed Tripp Owings president and CEO of Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & ER, also in Wichita, according to a Wichita Eagle report.

Here are four notes:

1. Mr. Owings will take on the role at the end of October.

2. He currently serves as COO of Wesley Children’s Hospital in Wichita.

3. Mr. Owings is a board member of the Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County and the Kansas Hospital Association.

4. He replaces Steve Edgar, who left to serve as president and CEO at Denton (Texas) Regional Medical Center.
