Ms. Saunders is currently president and COO of the health system. She will be assuming CEO duties from Reynold Jennings, whose contract ends on Dec. 31, 2015.
Ms. Saunders previously served as vice president of clinical strategy and service lines at Inova Health System and COO of Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Va. She also held administrative responsibility for the department of medicine clinical programs at Emory University School of Medicine and managed the Emory Heart Center and Cardiology programs in Atlanta.
