Bill Bellando has been named executive vice president and CIO of Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger.
Mr. Bellando announced the appointment in a June 5 LinkedIn post.
“Geisinger is widely recognized for its patient-centered approach, clinical excellence, commitment to innovation and focus on transforming healthcare delivery,” he wrote. “The opportunity to help advance that mission through technology, digital transformation and operational excellence is both humbling and energizing.”
Before joining Geisinger, Mr. Bellando served as senior vice president and CIO of Marietta, Ga.-based Wellstar Health System from 2022 to 2026.
