Mr. Stern, who is based in Chicago, will provide equipment and project financing to health systems, hospitals, large physician groups and outpatient providers in the Midwest region. His experience includes credit, asset management and sales, according to the release.
In his 13 years of medical equipment and project financing experience, Mr. Stern previously served as vice president at MarCap Corp. and is a former chief arbitrage manager for a commodities company. He held a seat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange as a foreign currency trader.
