Wellmont Health System names Dale Clark president of 2 hospitals

Kingsport, Tenn.-based Wellmont Health System has named Dale Clark president of Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Norton, Va., and Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, Va., effective March 23.

Since 2014, Mr. Clark has been serving as COO of Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville, Va. Before that, he was the hospital’s assistant administrator for four years. Mr. Clark began his career as director of pharmacy at Wythe County Community Hospital in 1984.

Mr. Clark succeeds Fred Pelle, who has been named COO of Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn.
