Weiss Memorial Hospital CEO promoted to chief of Tenet’s Chicago market

Anthony J. Tedeschi, MD, CEO of Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, has been promoted to CEO of Tenet Healthcare’s Chicago market.

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare owns and operates Weiss Memorial Hospital along with three other Chicago-area hospitals, including MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park and West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park.

In his new role, Dr. Tedeschi will lead the overall direction, strategy and operations for the market’s four hospitals in addition to his leadership role at Weiss Memorial.

Before becoming CEO of Weiss Memorial, Dr. Tedeschi served as CMO and lead market executive for the four hospitals.
