Washington system names CFO

Wenatchee, Wash.-based Confluence Health has named Janette Townsend CFO. 

Ms. Townsend joins the health system from Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic Health System, where she served as vice president of finance, CFO of finance operations and chief investment officer, according to a June 17 news release. She has more than 25 years of experience in financial positions within the healthcare industry.

“With her extensive and varied experience in the world of nonprofit healthcare finance, in particular in working to serve rural communities, we look forward to her collaborative approach to bring effective and creative solutions toward our efforts to provide outstanding care to the residents of North Central Washington,” Confluence Health CEO Andrew Jones, MD, said in the release.
