Walla Walla General Hospital taps Rick Bockmann to lead as CEO: 4 things to know

Walla Walla (Wash.) General Hospital, a part of Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health, named Rick Bockmann president and CEO, effective Dec. 12.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Bockmann currently served as CEO of Howard Memorial Hospital in Willits, Calif., a role he has held since 2011.

2. Prior to that, he was vice president of physician services at St. Helena (Calif.) Hospital.

3. He has served on boards of several community organizations including the Colorado Medical Society Foundation and American College of Healthcare Executives.

4. Mr. Bockmann will replace Bob Beehler, who has served as the hospital’s
interim CEO for the last several months.
