Wake Forest Baptist CIO Chad Eckes promoted to CFO

Chad Eckes, vice president and CIO of Winston Salem, N.C.-based WakeForestBaptistMedicalCenter, has been named executive vice president and CFO of the hospital, according to a Winston-Salem Journal report.

Mr. Eckes has been serving as CIO since March 2014. He will still oversee Wake Forest Baptist’s Information Technology Division in his new position.

Deette Emon, chief clinical information officer of Wake Forest Baptist, will take over vice president and CIO duties, according to the report.
