Virginia’s Wythe County Community Hospital Appoints CEO

Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville, Va., has named Timothy Bess its new CEO, effective Sept. 7, according to a hospital news release.

Mr. Bess previously served as vice president of patient and support services for Thomas Health System, based in South Charleston, Va.

He also served as chief operating officer of St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, W.Va., before the hospital became part of Thomas Health System.
