Vermont Hospital Chooses New CEO

Thomas Dee has been chosen as CEO of Southwestern Vermont Health Care and Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vt., according to a report in the Burlington Free Press.

Mr. Dee is expected to begin in his new role on Dec. 1. Officials from the Southwestern Vermont Health Care board of trustees said 300 candidates were considered before they narrowed the field to six interviewees.

Mr. Dee most recently served as president and CEO of Benedictine Hospital in Kingston, N.Y., and has 20 years’ experience in healthcare administration, according to the report.
