Richmond, Va.-based VCU Health Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center has named Monica Baskin, PhD, as interim director.
Dr. Baskin will step into the role later this spring, according to a March 24 news release from the cancer center.
She currently serves as deputy director of research at VCU Massey and is associate dean for cancer innovation in the VCU School of Medicine.
VCU Massey Director, Robert Winn, MD, was recently appointed director of Philadelphia-based Temple University Health System’s Fox Chase Cancer Center.
