VCU Health taps new AI chief

Richmond, Va.-based VCU Health has named Alok Chaudhary as its new vice president, chief data and artificial intelligence officer.

Mr. Chaudhary will step into the role July 21 and oversee the health system’s data-steering committee and advancements of data, analytics, AI and emerging technology, according to a July 12 news release from VCU Health. 

Mr. Chaudhary comes to VCU Health from Johnson City, Tenn.-based Ballad Health where he served as chief data and analytics officer.
