In this role, Dr. Rothman will provide leadership in revenue cycle, managed care contracting, credentialing, revenue and reimbursement, as well as other clinician-facing finance department initiatives, according to a May 2 news release from Nashville, Tenn.-based VUMC.
Dr. Rothman’s new role begins July 1, according to the release. He currently serves as medical director for revenue cycle as well as a professor of anesthesiology, biomedical informatics and surgery.
