VUMC promoted the two executives as part of an operational reorganization. Robin Steaban will move from her role to the newly created role of chief administrative officer and CNO of Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute to become CNO for Vanderbilt University Hospital and Clinics.

Mitchell Edgeworth will move from his role as COO of Vanderbilt University Hospital to the newly created position of COO of VUHC.

The promotions accompany operational streamlining within VUMC’s adult enterprise, which historically operated with a leadership model that included separate CNOs and COOs for hospitals and clinics.
