Paramus, N.J.-based Valley Health System named Paul Yodice, MD, patient safety officer for the system.
In this role, he will advance quality, patient safety and performance improvement; help teams identify opportunities to improve care, remove barriers and prevent patient safety events; and enhance the culture of quality and safety. In addition to his leadership role, he will practice critical care medicine at The Valley Hospital in Paramus.
Most recently, he served as chair of medicine for the Southern region and Neptune, N.J.-based Jersey Shore University Medical Center, part of Hackensack Meridian Health.
