Valeant names new CFO

Laval, Quebec, Canada-based Valeant Pharmaceuticals has named Paul S. Herendeen executive vice president of finance and CFO.

Mr. Herendeen has more than 30 years of financial leadership experience. He joins Valeant from Florham Park, N.J.-based Zoetis, a global animal health company, where he served as executive vice president and CFO for the past two years.

“Paul is an accomplished and well respected financial executive, and we are delighted to welcome him to Valeant,” said Valeant CEO Joseph C. Papa.

Mr. Herendeen will take over the role of CFO from Robert L. Rosiello, who will remain at Valeant at executive vice president of corporate development and strategy.
