Ms. Kumar-Giebel succeeds Ralph Gigliotti, who retired after 40 years of federal service, according to a Jan. 3 news release shared with Becker’s. She currently serves as the network’s deputy network director.
In her new role, Ms. Kumar-Giebel will oversee healthcare delivery for more than 1 million veterans and an operating budget of more than $5 billion until a permanent replacement is named.
