Mr. Durniok has been serving as interim president of UPMC Hamot since July, in addition to his roles as president of Jamestown, N.Y.-based UPMC Chautauqua and Seneca, Pa.-based UPMC Northwest, according to a Dec. 4 news release shared with Becker’s. He will continue to helm all three hospitals until replacements are named to the Chautauqua and Northwest facilities.

Mr. Durniok joined Pittsburgh-based UPMC in 1995 as a director of human resources UPMC Horizon in Mercer County, Pa., and has held other leadership roles since. At UPMC Northwest — where he was named president in 2017 — he was instrumental in developing the telemedicine service line, which is the largest across UPMC’s network, the release said.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
