UPMC names chief legal officer

Mark Tamburri was named executive vice president and chief legal officer of Pittsburgh-based UPMC.

He will succeed Tom McGough, who will retire at the end of 2023, according to a Nov. 15 news release.

Mr. Tamburri previously served as UPMC’s associate chief legal officer and senior vice president of litigation and risk management. 

UPMC has more than 40 hospitals and hundreds of physician offices and outpatient centers in the Northeast and around the world.
