University of Rochester Medical Center names Adam Anolik permanent CFO

University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center made CFO Adam P. Anolik’s appointment permanent, effective immediately.

Mr. Anolik served as interim CFO of URMC since June. Prior to that, he was CFO of Strong Memorial Hospital and Highland Hospital, both based in Rochester. He also oversaw the financial management of URMC’s regional strategy and affiliate healthcare entities. He will continue to serve as Highland Hospital CFO, in addition to his systemwide role. Carrie Fuller Spencer, Strong Memorial Hospital’s current director of financial services, is the hospital’s interim CFO.

Before coming to URMC in 1999, Mr. Anolik was vice president of finance and internal services at Planned Parenthood. He is also actively involved in volunteer work and is the founding member of the Developmental Disabilities Giving Circle at the Rochester Area Community Foundation.

Mr. Anolik succeeds David Kirshner, who departed in June.
