Jody Mitori has been named chief marketing and communications officer for Columbia, Mo.-based University of Missouri System, which includes MU Health Care.
She was most recently executive director of strategic communications at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis after having previously spent five years in marketing leadership at Univeristy of Missouri.
In her new role at Univeristy of Missouri System, she will “coordinate shared goals, messages, issues management strategies, branding, and reputation-building for schools and colleges, Government Relations, Advancement, MU Health Care, Mizzou Athletics, Extension and Engagement,” according to a March 12 news release.
