Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Curtright currently serves as the organization’s COO. He will continue in this role in addition to serving as interim CEO.
2. He replaces Mitch Wasden, who is leaving to take on the executive vice president and CEO positions at Portland-based Oregon Health & Science University.
3. Prior to joining University of Missouri Health Care in February 2016, Mr. Curtright was COO at Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health.
4. He has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership, and was previously COO at University of Kentucky HealthCare in Lexington.
